LEGO 90 Years of Play for Westfield NZ.

THE BRIEF //


We love working with brands that share our values, so when Westfield asked us to design a school holiday activation to celebrate 90 Years of Play with LEGO®, we jumped at the chance. The activation had to be adaptable to work across all five NZ centres and adhere to LEGO’s brand guidelines.

THE THINKING //


We began with an idea; to explore the different styles of play. We designed an underfoot flowchart, a series of playful questions to identify your play personality and lead you to a corresponding activity.

THE MAKING //


Being LEGO’s 90th birthday we dialled up the party vibes with balloons and confetti and sprinkled each activity with LEGO detailing.

We created a custom LEGO car race track, colour your own LEGO sticker set station and a firm favourite; minifig bowling.

THE SUCCESS //


Our team simultaneously rolled out activations across all five NZ centres and had kids from all over the nation celebrating LEGO through play.
